The Revenue Enhancement by Strengthening and Optimising the Utilisation of Resources and CSO Engagement in Local Governance (RESOURCEGov) 2 Project team pays a courtesy call visit to DILG officials and staff on December 6, 2017 at DILG-Office of the Undersecretary for Local Government, Quezon City. In attendance were: Program Manager Richard L. Villacorte, Head Executive Assistant Josephine C. Leysa, Public Affairs and Communications Service (PACS) Director Marlo S. Guanzon, and eight (8) representatives from Project Management Office (PMO), Information Systems and Technology Management Service (ISTMS) and Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) Program.
Mr. Jobe Tubigon, Mahintana Operations Manager, presented the user-friendly data management systems such as the Open Data Kit (ODK) effective for tax mapping and project monitoring and the Legislative Information Tracking System (LITS) helpful for archiving ordinances/resolutions and other documents.
DILG Program Manager Richard Villacorte appreciated the systems presented and expressed to implement the use of the tools at their own level for project management and later on, introduce it to local government units and MLGOOs.
