Networks and Affiliations
As Mahintana puts forward its agenda of development cooperation, the foundation continually strengthens and expands its partnership with other development players in its various areas of operations. At the national level, Mahintana has been accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) and by the Department of Finance-Bureau of Internal Revenue (DOF-BIR) as Donee Institution. It sits as the Vice-Chairperson of the National Pharmaceutical Foundation and a member of the Philippine Watershed Management Coalition (PWMC). Mahintana also serves as a local partner of the Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (PhilDHRRA) and the Mindanao Coalition of Development NGO Networks (MinCODE).
At the regional level, Mahintana is registered and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region XII. Further, at the provincial level, the foundation currently sits as the Chairperson of the Sarangani Province Empowerment for Community Transformation Forum (SPECTRUM) and sits as a member of the Coalition of Social Development Organizations in South Cotabato (CSDO-SC). It is also an active member of the Local Area Health and Development Zone (LAHDZ)-V as NGO representative and chairs the Financing Committee of the Provincial Coordinating Council for Health Concerns (PCCHC) in South Cotabato. Mahintana also sits as a member of the Provincial Development Council (PDC) in both provinces of South Cotabato and Sarangani. Further, the foundation is also a member of the Protected Area Management Board of both the Mt. Matutum Protected Landscape (MMPL) and the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS).
At the municipal level, Mahintana sits as a member of the Municipal Development Council (MDC), Local Health Board (LHB), Municipal Nutrition Council (MNC), Municipal Tourism Council (MTC), Solid Waste Management Committee (SWMC), Task Force Kalusugan (TFK) and the Multi-sectoral Forest Protection Committee (MFPC). It also sits as a member of the People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) and serves as the Secretariat to the Polomolok STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention & Control Council
