ARH Program continues its room to room campaign to partner schools. On July 19, 2019, HEPOs, ARH advocates, and Mahintana conducted the campaign in Upper Klinan National High School (UKNHS) participated by six nurses from the Municipal Health Office of Polomolok.
ARH Volunteer Ms. Wiki Hamilton, Project Officer Ms. Rochelle Juevesano, and HEPOs visited UKNHS Principal Romeo Jerao. Eleven peer educators of UKNHS welcomed and assisted the HEPOs in the campaign. ARH advocates Ms. Rachel Monserat, Ms. Nelia Gay Alinagsa, and Ms. Quenie Diana facilitated the schedules of the sections.
The campaign catered to all students of the junior high and senior high school. The HEPOs were assigned topics to discuss over an average of 10 to 15 minutes: on Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Use, Mental Health, Stress Management, STI/HIV/AIDS, and Adolescent Reproductive Health. The HEPOs equipped themselves with references through a PowerPoint presentation and visual aids, using the LED monitor of the classrooms or their laptops.
