Mahintana serves Brgy. Tubeng with Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan 2019

Holding true to its commitment in working towards sustainable and resilient communities, Mahintana Foundation Inc. conducted its Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan at Brgy Tubeng, Tupi on August 20, 2019, Tuesday as one of the highlight activities for its 42nd Founding Anniversary. The medical mission served a total of 684 beneficiaries in Tubeng through the HEALTH Plus Project together with its partners, the Integrated Provincial Health Office of South Cotabato, Lion’s Club, Philippine Dental Association—South Cotabato, Rural Health Unit of Tupi, Human Resource for Health, Department of Education, Barangay Council, and suppliers.

Pregnant women, senior citizens, grade school students, and residents across different age groups availed oral health services aboard the Department of Health Dental Health Bus, laboratory services—such as HIV screening and blood typing, implant insertion for Family Planning clients and counseling, immunization and deworming, urinalysis, eye check-up, medical check-up,  receiving vitamins, medicine, and ointment. Lectures on dengue awareness including Operation Kulob were also given to pupils and teachers of Tubeng Elementary School and Atbangan Elementary School.
