LGU President Roxas visits LGU President Quirino

As one of the pilot areas in Region 12, the LGU President Quirino became a learning site for other LGUs from different regions because of their successful use of the ODK System in the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO). On August 23, 2019, RESOURCEGov Project Officer Mr. Gamaliel H. Moquete facilitated the learning visit of LGU President Roxas to LGU President Quirino for Business Tax Processing and Application with a total of 10 participants (Male 4, Female 6).

President Quirino BPLO Officer Mr. Jimmy Sotelo presented how they do their Business Tax Processing and Application while BPLO Encoder Ms. Linlet Marohomsalic shared how they were able to target the business collections through the use of ODK. Mr. Sotelo showed the ODK graphs to the body.

HEALTH Plus Project orients new HPSiS Staff

Mahintana Foundation, Inc., through its HEALTH Plus Project, conducted a two-day orientation-training to five newly-hired HEALTH Plus Shop-in-a-Shop (HPSiS) staff on August 22-23, 2019 at Sarangani Resources Corporation (SRC) Conference Room, Cannery Housing, Cannery Site, Polomolok, South Cotabato.  The orientation aims to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of the foundation and the project including its history, rationale, objectives, and benefits of its. Also, to improve their knowledge and skills on Point-Of-Sale (POS) System, supply chain processes and SOA preparation and basic policies and procedures. Each topic was facilitated by the HEALTH Plus personnel according to thenamely HEALTH Plus Management Information System (HPMIS) Officer Mr. June Ritche Cagata, Supply Chain Officer Mr. Nolimar Abesar, Supervising Pharmacist Ms.  Jea Roque, Project Bookkeeper Mr. Froilan Dave Cosep, and Project Admin Assistant Ms. Everly Planes.

The newly-hired staff will be deployed to HPSiS outlets in South Cotabato Provincial Hospital (3) in Koronadal City, South Cotabato and Sarangani Medical Center (1) in Alabel, Sarangani and Glan Medicare Community Hospital (1) in Glan, Sarangani. One staff from Dr. Jorge P. Royeca Hospital in General Santos City participated in the 2nd day of the training to catch up on the Pharmacy 101 Orientation.
