PIT-PMT meets for Year 3 Spending Plan Refinements

As a follow-through activity of the Annual Review and Planning Workshop, RESOURCEGov Team conducted its 8th Project Implementation Team – Project Management Team (PIT-PMT) Meeting on November 18-19, 2019 at Blue Lotus Hotel, Davao City. The 2-day activity, attended by 24 team staff and partners (Male 12, Female 12), aimed to refine the spending plan for Year 3 and discuss the next steps and schedules of the project implementation team.

After the preliminaries, Mahintana Pres. & CEO Mr. Martiniano L. Magdolot gave the welcome address reminding the team that the project is already in its last year of implementation and must focus on building pool of experts to sustain the project gains. Project Head Bookkeeper Ms. Jovelyn Vilbar and (MINCODE) Bookkeeper Ms. Jessica Jose-Teves presented the consolidated spending plan per LGU as the result of the planning workshop conducted in October. During the presentations, issues and concerns were raised and discussed in the plenary. Suggestions and recommendations from participating DILG partners were noted. Financial workshops were conducted to do necessary revisions and refinements to the spending plan. On the 2nd day, the minor revisions were made and presented to the plenary. Key agreements include the following: 1) revisit the budget and consider to forego some activities to give way to the other proposed activities; 2) Inform the MLGOOs of the 2016 CSIS results before the conduct of the 2020 CSIS survey (Region 12) c/o project officers; 3) decide collectively on where to get budget for the LITS roll-out for the barangays of Sarangani, among others.  The next step is to submit the finalized annual interim and financial reports and request for budget realignment will be sent at the end of the month.
