Mahintana signs MOU with MPC

On November 5, 2019, Mahintana Foundation Inc., Mindanao Polytechnic College (MPC) and Silverberry Homes, Inc. (SBHI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at QSS Center, MPC, General Santos City. This MOU is in line with the one-year research project entitled “Employing Wave-Breakers and Seedlings Planter: A Means of reducing the Mortality Rate of Newly Planted Mangroves along the Coastline of Barangay Buayan, General Santos City,” an approach to address the low survival rate of planted mangrove seedlings and help establish a mangrove park through planting and nurturing of the mangroves that may eventually create a source of livelihood among purok residents.

Mahintana Foundation aims to partner with more private organizations and institutions in protecting, preserving and conserving the environment.

RESOURCEGov orients Malapatan BLGUs with LITS

The RESOURCEGov 2 Project continued rolling out the LITS orientation and installation to the barangays of Sarangani. Thru the coordination efforts of the Vice-Governor’s Office of Sarangani, the project cascaded LITS  to the barangays under the municipality of Malapatan on November 5, 2019. The honorable Vice Governor Elmer de Peralta also joined the activity to inspire the barangays to do better in local legislation and their performance as the basic government units. A total of eight (8) barangays have installed the system.

The following barangays have installed LITS: Poblacion, Patag, Sapu Padidu, Libi, Kihan, Tuyan, Lun Masla, and Lun Padido.
