MFI conducts KPWS Operations and Financial Management Training

Mahintana Foundation Inc. conducted the Operations and Financial Management for the beneficiaries of the Kinilis Potable Water System (KPWS) Rehabilitation Project on June 10, 2020 to ensure the sustainability of the project after the turnover. The training was attended by 25 participants from BLGU Kinilis Council and staff, Prk. 8 residents represented by the Matutum Coffee Producers Association and Greentropics with speakers from Polomolok Water District, WatSan RHUB-XII and Mahintana Foundation, Inc.

Brgy. Kinilis Captain Hon. Floro Tagaban gave a welcome message thanking the donor, implementer and everyone who attended the event. Mahintana Project Coordinator Ms. Ella Mae M. Babao then gave the background and overview of the training.  The one-day training was about four topics: 1) Water System Operations and Maintenance and 2) Water Quality Testing both presented by Polomolok Water District, 3) Asset/Cash Management by Mahintana, 4) BWASA and Policy Review by RHUB XII. The turnover ceremony is scheduled on June 30, 2020.
