Mahintana through the Ridge to Reef project supported the humanitarian mission, of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) in partnership with Mahintana Foundation, Inc. (MFI) conducted a mangrove planting and growing activity at Purok Minanga, Brgy. Buayan, General Santos City (6°32’26.83″N, 124°50’12.68″E). PCGA celebrated the World Water Day (March 22) and March 2021 National Women’s Month by planting 350 mangrove propagules/seeds and 130 seedlings.
A coastal clean-up was done along the coastal area of Queen Tuna Park and feeding program at Purok Minanga. Civic Society Organizations (CSO), namely, Rotary Club of Polomolok 101 and Epsilon Phi Sigma joined the celebration on March 13.
