Tateh Premium Feeds Corporation partners with Mahintana and MENRO Polomolok for tree growing activity

In celebration of the Philippine Environment Month 2021 in June and Arbor Day celebrated on June 25 for 2021, Tateh Premium Feeds Corporation in partnership with Mahintana Foundation, Inc. and the local government unit of Polomolok through MENRO Polomolok conducted a tree growing activity at Purok Asa, Brgy. Silway 8, Polomolok, South Cotabato [6°10’51.20″N, 125° 5’52.11″E] on June 26, 2021.

Tateh Premium Feeds Corporation planted 300 bamboo seedlings and 50 assorted fruit and forest tree seedlings as part of their commitment to environmental sustainability on flood mitigation and riverbanks erosion prevention measures. Around 20 participants from Tateh Premium Feeds Corporation, LGU/MENRO Polomolok, Prk. Asa residents, and Mahintana joined in the activity on Saturday.

ProPEACE supports the 10th Special Forces Educational Film Viewing

Mahintana Foundation Inc. and Dole Philippines through the Promoting Peace Engagements and Community Empowerment ( ProPEACE) programme supported an educational film viewing activity of the 10th Special Forces at Brgy. Koronadal Proper, Polomolok, South Cotabato on June 22, 2021.

During the film viewing Nutripan bread and Dole products were distributed for the participants.

Support for initiatives aimed to educate and promote peaceful coexistence among the tri-people is a key component of the ProPEACE programme.

ProPEACE programme is currently implemented in the provinces of South Cotabato and Sarangani through a consortium with Kasilak Development Foundation, OND Hesed, Maguindanaon Development Foundation, and the Tribal Leaders Development Foundation.

ProPEACE supports Hay-atul Ulama SARGEN’s Strategic Planning Workshop

On June 22 – 24, 2021, Mahintana Foundation, Inc., in collaboration with the OND Hesed and the Maguindanaon Development Foundation, organized a three-day strategic planning workshop for the Hay-atul Ulama SARGEN (Sarangani-General Santos) chapter through the ProPEACE programme. The activity aimed to outline programs, activities, and overall direction of the organization.

Officers and members of Hay-atul Ulama SARGEN identified organizational strengths and weaknesses to reinforce the activity’s goal-setting and planning process. Facilitators assisted in evaluating and validating their outputs.  Ms. Jennifer Kamid, representing partners of Sulong Kalinaw – Sarangani, graced the event and delivered a brief message to the participants on the national peace and development framework.

The crafted three-year strategic plan will serve as a basis for the Hay-atul Ulama SARGEN with its future engagements with the programme as well as other stakeholders.

HIRING: Supervising Pharmacist

Mahintana Foundation, Inc. is hiring for the position of Supervising Pharmacist with the following qualification:

  • Licensed pharmacist

Job description:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the HEALTH Plus warehouse and all its outlets;
  • Consolidates purchase requests of HEALTH Plus outlets and clients to be submitted to Supply Chain Officer for review and PO preparation;
  • Ensures that requested medicines and supplies from outlets and clients are completely procured, packed, and delivered per outlet on time;
  • Ensures that quality standards of delivered medicines are strictly followed;
  • Serves as liaison officer to facilitate prompt and accurate transactions concerning the HEALTH Plus products such as outlet’s work schedules of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants and adherence of all outlets to 5S (sweep, sanitize, systematize, self-discipline, sort);
  • Provides support to the internal audit team in the conduct of regular stocks and sales inventory at the HPSiS and PPF level;
  • Manages stock levels of the PPF in coordination with the Supply Chain Officer and Warehouse Officer;
  • Assist in destroying and disposing of expired drugs if need arises;
  • Checks items prepared by warehouse officer prior to delivery;
  • Checks accreditation documents of the suppliers and recommends approval to Operations Officer and Project Manager;
  • Assists in satisfying FDA, EDPMS and PDEA requirements and adhere to their rules and regulations;
  • Responsible in handling, preparation and participation in PhilGEPS-related activities such as but not limited to its accreditation, submission of quotation and bids, and preparation of documents and stocks on awarded bids;
  • Coordinate with PPF supply chain and operations officer on the medicines and supplies for bidding;
  • Perform other HEALTH Plus related activities
